Romain Sarrot is a visual artist and videographer born in 1986, lives and works in Paris. Between 2006 and 2010 he made a video triptych about mental disorder. Since 2010 he crafts limited run items in various materials (resin, putty, paper, plaster and silicone). Part of his artistic approach, is focused on misappropriation and aims to get daily objects around us in perspective. Therefore, it’s bring human relationships in question through the alteration of surrounding -so called- immutable elements. Handcrafted, handmade by the artist, unique takes on great importance in his work.
